  • Overcome by Color

    Overcome by Color

Color has returned to my art and my world. I haven't felt like this since my experience many years ago living in Bali, Indonesia. I can't stop thinking about bright beautiful colors, and finding ways to use them in my work.

The Cuba Series is my transitional journey to color. The paintings reveal a bit of color, and slowly, I am finding ways to bring more life and vibrancy to my work.

    Prints of Drawings Inspired Cuba

In March 2015, I traveled to Cuba, and the experience brought color back into my life and art. The bright and welcoming people amidst uncertainty and constraint filled the island with vibrant, beautiful art in the form of dance, music and visual art.

The paintings that I created since returning to Cuba, are my way of sharing what I experienced.
